“I think it's great. I think, you know Loki is a shape-shifter I guess. I also mean that he can be...that everybody can empathize with him, you know. It means that he is...there's no box he fits into, and it means he appeals everybody. I think, the more that happens in life, the better. It's great."

小姐姐：“对不起我问下，你是怎么爱上并喜欢上你的角色的？你要长期扮演这个角色，你怎样和他共处？”

森：“演员的工作是对角色感同身受，你得奋力保护这个出发点，因为一旦你开始以审判你的角色，就失去了真实演绎他们的能力。所以对我来说最好玩的就是要学会爱洛基，包括他所有的误入歧途、支离破碎和变态的伤痕累累。我需要努力去理解为什么，为什么他这么坏，他到底要什么，就像一个心理学家一样，要一层层剥开洛基的骄傲、野心、贪婪、痛苦、悲伤和愤怒，你就能看到他内心的脆弱，他感到被背叛，他感到心碎，他感到被欺骗了。当你看到这些，你就明白正是因为他内心的软弱，他才用层层战甲和尖角来从外面保护自己。因此当我发现我对洛基很着迷，我喜爱他，所以并不是…”

“Sorry, how do you live the life to learn to love or to like your character? And to live with the idea that you have to do this character for a long time?"

“Well, you know, it's a job of the actor is to have compassion for the character that you play, you have to fight the corner. If you judge your character, you ceaseto be able to play them truthfully. So the interesting thing for me, specifically was to learn to love Loki in all his misguided, broken, twisted damage. You know, and try and try and understand, why. Why is he so bad, what does he want. Basically you are peeling away layers of pride and ambition and greed and pain and sadness and anger like any psychologist, you get to the core of the vulnerability, he feels betrayed, he feels broken, he feels cheated. And once you get to that,you realize that he is very soft-centered over which isarmor plated protection and horns, and all these things. And I found him fascinating. And therefore, I love him. So it was not..."

森：“凯文打电话给我，问你觉得模仿一下洛基怎样，我说要原汁原味重现洛基，不想冲淡自己创作的这个角色，要玩就玩大的，于是我们决定玩一票最大的，凯文主意一出我马上写了一些设计提案。”

“And Kevin called me up and he said, how about this is idea and he said would you turn up as, do a pastiche of Loki , and I said, well, I don't want to dilute the integrity of the character that I have created, so go big or go home. So wa decided to go the biggest we can possibly imagine. And as soon as he gave me the idea, I wrote a little of the thing I would do."

“People find him engaging, people find him charming and interesting, and sort of psychologically fascinating and in some cases attractive."

“So for example, he is an illegitimate son like the character Edmund in King Lear, he's ambitions like Macbeth, he's...he is a sort of a chessmaster; strategist like Iago. And then one of the things he said to me was he wanted Loki to have…what Shakespeare called {a lean and hungry look ", which is what he used to describe Cassiu in Julius Caesar.”

“People would make relationships, and one of those thing is...is vulnerability, is that...you know, when we are...when human beings are weak. No matter else how weak it is, often...you know, negativity comes up weakness. And as a way of looking at weakness, it was compassion, and so, it was very important to me to build Loki's psychology from something (that) was... in a way compassionate from my perspective. So...in the first film, Loki discovers that narrative story of his childhood is a lie. That he is not Odin's son, he is not Thor's brother, or Frigga's boy. And he doesn't belong in Asgard. In fact, he was once an illegitimate child,of an enemy race who was left to die on the frozen wastes of another realm, and it breaks his heart, and that sense of betrayal is what hardens him to becomea villain.”

森：“旅行让你能把自己归零为整，意识到自己是（更大存在）的一部分。所以当我扮演洛基时，就像去往另一个地方，我能挖掘到他隐藏在背后的那些和我一样的，或不一样的东西。”

“You know, traveling is exactly that what it does is, it binds you together, and you realize you are part of...so when I play Loki, it's like I travel to other place, and... I find out the things about him that are like me, and the things about him that are not like me.”

“You know to answer dor his crimes. And he is unrepentant and almost ravels in that. And he's incarcerated for eternity in the darkest dungeons of Asgard."

“So you know I think, for me it was always coming into this and speaking in length with Alan and Kevin was where next? You know we've seen Loki being a kind of charming psychopath in 2 films and an antagonist for Thor, and trying to find a way of developing his psychology of deepening it of finding new things to do.And part of that was continuing, obviously continue his particular strain of playfulness. And but also kind of trying to get inside, you know, when he's so isolated, and so lonely, and so angry, what does he have left to live for."

森：“呃，啊，我认为他是个反英雄，那是些…演他最大的乐趣在于恶作剧的这种状态，不停的玩笑和享受戏弄人。他是个倾向于危险的角色，他为混乱而存在，煽动并回应它，但这又处于他那颗破碎的心。”

“Ehehe. Ahmmmm, I sort of see him as an antihero. There is something...the great joy of playing him is inhabiting mischief as a shape of mood to be so perpetually playful and to enjoy teasing. He is a character who leans into danger, he exists for chaos, to provoke it, to respond to it, but also comes from a very broken heart.”

“I hope it's no accident to see...There is a scene in the middle of the fist film where a young man is informed the narrative of his entire life is a lie and that to me is sort of the corner stone of the entire characterization. Is that the beginning, it's a scene between Odin and Loki where he finds out he doesn't belong in that family and it's very emotional, and it's the beginning of his isolation. And sort of from that moment all the way to through this moment, he is a solitary figure. Existing entirely on his own, mettle for his own ends, motivated by deeply damage, so all his villainy comes from a sense of having been betrayed, a jealousy, a pride, an anger and a vengefulness."

森：“对，对我来说让他垮掉是很重要的，让他直跌谷底，因为否则他还会继续之前的轨迹。这场戏演起来非常有满足感，因为洛基是一个从来不透露底牌的角色，他从不相信别人，某种程度上游戏本身过程比结果有趣得多。而这个镜头我想他表现的很真实。”

“Yeah. To me it was just so important to break him in a way to take him all the way down because otherwise he will continue on the same trajectory. And it was really fulfilling to play that scene because Loki is a character who never reveals his true hand. He keeps his cards close to his chest in a way the game is more enjoyable than the ends of the game itself. And this ia the scene where I think he behaves authentically.”

“He comes with a tremendous back story and a lot of work. You can tell, when he talk about this scene, how well thought through it is, how much emotional work he has already done."

“You once said something that I love which is when we were talking about where Loki could go, it's a camp earlier, if you dig down deep enough till you get the good part and the way you put was, you know, coming out of the North mythology, he is the god of mischief, he does the good, he does the evil, you never get to the bottom, you dig down and you find the good part, and you keep digging, it's evil again, and you keep digging and it gets really really sweet. And then it's really ambitious and horrible. And you'll never stop with him."

森：“是的，我猜他…在这个角色的所有历史里面，他是，我以前就说过，我想他是混乱的代言人，这是他给自己的定义。”

“Yes, and I guess that's his...in all of the history of thecharacter, he is, I've said it before, he is the agent of chaos, that's where he finds definition.”

“That it's really fun to play the unpredictable firework in the back, you know. You know you buy a bunch of fireworks. You know what they all do except for that strange one at the end.”

“I suppose the key thing for me is in his...is the trickster, this idea of a figure you can not trust. And youcan never know whether he's telling the truth or not."

“There's a... I think Loki--Loki in Thor is a lost prince, and there's a degree of vulnerability and confusion, about his identity. In the Avengers he knows exactly who he is, he is full of his self-possessed. And he's here with a particular mission.”

“I don't think it's that...like all delusional autocrats, he doesn't think it...he doesn't seeing it as vengeance, he sees this as umm...a good thing, one of his...essentially, he's come down to earth to subjugate it, to rule the human race, as their king. And his primary argument is that planet is rife and populated by people who constantly fighting each other. If they are all united together in the reverence of one king, there will be no war. I'm not sure he's right about that, EHEHEHE, but that's his reasoning. I think still...a jealousy that Thor gets to have a kingdom. As it...Thor gets a kingdo, Thor gets Asgard, and Loki has nothing. So he's gonna come and make his own kingdom.”

森：“我觉得Loki对完全开放自己表现真实的自我感到相当的愉悦。”

“And I think there's a kind of relish that Loki takes in just being who he is that is."

“Well, yeah, there's something about Loki that's been expanded. It's like he is a enormously powerful bein, he's the god of mischief, and between the end of the Thor and the beginning of the Avengers, he's evolve. He's like...as if he's been...on his...like 3-year worth of military training, Loki knows a few extra things, tricks up his sleeves. It's really fun. It was hugely physically demanding for me. Because there's a kind of lethaland yet sinewy strength that he has. That sometimesis a sort of magic and sort of supernatural power that he has, and other times is raw physicality which just is me and my body taking down."
